Customer Self-Service

The automation of Enomatic's Wine Card System offers a world of new opportunities including customer self-service. This provides customers with the freedom to explore their preferences at their own pace.

In a restaurant, bar or retail wine tasting store every customer can taste a wide range of wines to find wines that suit their personal tastes.

For example, by using our 'Restaurant' type Wine Cards in a restaurant, customers can match their wine with every course of their meal:

• The Enomatic Wine Serving System is installed in a central location that is accessible for the customers.
• The customers are provided with Wine Cards at their table. The cards begin with zero value.
• Each customer takes their Wine Card and inserts it into a card reader which activates the bottles in each machine - if no Wine Card is inserted no wine can be served.
• The card reader digitally displays the current value on the Wine Card for the customers' information.
• The customer selects a wine and the desired volume. Note that a taste, half or full glass are possible options on 3 volume models. Our optional digital price display above each bottle can display the price for each serve volume.
• The customer presses the button of the selected wine and the price of the serve is automatically added onto the Wine Card as the wine is poured into the glass.
• The customer removes the Wine Card from the reader until another wine selection is desired.

At the completion of the meal the customer presents the card and the total cost of the wine is added onto their account. The Wine Cards can be reused by the restaurant by resetting the card to its original 0 value.
